Introduction

Since deciding to hold this event, the organizing committee has held repeated discussions with the relevant government agencies, many nature conservation stakeholders, and residents in the surrounding area, and for the first event, we have taken the utmost consideration for nature conservation, including conducting a survey on the impact of the event on the natural environment.

As a result, we found that while the impact on the trail was not large overall, there were sections and environmental conditions that required caution. Unfortunately, we also found some litter. We and those involved in nature conservation share the same desire to protect the rich natural environment and hope that many people will benefit from it. Based on the results of the first event, we are planning to operate the next event in a more environmentally friendly manner.

In order for trail running to become widely recognized as an outdoor sport and for it to become a sustainable activity in the future, the cooperation of all participants is essential. I hope that each and every participant will take part in the trial runs and races with a strong awareness that they are responsible for the fate of trail running in the future.

We would also like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to the many people who have offered their advice regarding the course and environmental planning for this event.
