Mount Fuji 100 kicks off, with late-night start sending runners to Tenshi Mountains

The Mt. Fuji 100, an international trail running event that runs along the foot of Mount Fuji, is currently in the midst of its 10th year in 2024. The event will finish at midnight on Thursday, April 26th, with a distance of 166.6 km and a cumulative elevation gain of 7,039 m.FUJI100mi(Fuji100miles)The race started at Mount Fuji Children's World (Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture). A total of 2,146 runners participated, including 273 women and 1,873 men, from 34 countries and regions around the world.
The FUJI 100mi course runs clockwise, passing through the foot of the mountain, Lake Shojiko, and other areas, before turning back at Lake Yamanakako, passing through Ishiwariyama and Shakushiyama, and ending at Fuji North Foot Park and Mt. Fuji's Famous Water Stadium.The first runner to complete the course is scheduled to arrive at the finish gate inside Mt. Fuji's Famous Water Stadium around 7:10 p.m. on Friday, April 26th.
