World-class trail running competition introduces prize money system and new events

The details of the 14th Mt.FUJI100 2026, one of Japan's largest international trail running events, have been decided.
The tournament will be held from Friday, April 24th to Sunday, April 26th, 2026, in the areas around Mount Fuji in Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefectures.

Highlights of the tournament
・Prize money will be awarded to the top 5 men and women in each of the World Trail Majors events, "FUJI 100mi" and "ASUMI 40k."
・"FUJI100mi" will reduce the number of participants and change the course to provide a higher quality race experience
・"ASUMI40k" has been improved to make it easier to participate by expanding the participation slots, extending the time limit, and reviewing the required items.
・The first open race, "SAKUYA 12k," was held in accordance with mountain racing rules (a new U20 division (6km) was also established).
