Outline of 2025 Mount Fuji 100 announced, new 40km race "ASUMI40k" established
Mt. Fuji 100, an international trail running event that runs along the foothills of Mt. Fuji, has finalized the outline of the 100 event. The main changes from the previous event are as follows:
An overview of the 2025 Games will be explained in two live broadcasts on the Games' YouTube channel on October 10st and 1th. In addition to press releases, the Games will also be posting information about the Games on their YouTube channel, mainly aimed at general participants.
Key Points for the 2025 Games
- The event will be held over three days from Friday, April 2025th to Sunday, April 4th, 25.
- In addition to the 168km FUJI100mi and 100km KAI70k, a new 70km ASUMI70k will be established.
- Eligibility requirements have been changed and the required ITRA points have been reduced
- Establishing elite athlete qualifications that waive the lottery and allow priority entry
- Establishing nature conservation rules in accordance with the International Trail Running Association's (ITRA) "Green Charter"
- A new "Pregnancy Postponement Policy" has been established to support female athletes participating in competitions before and after pregnancy.
