Points to note
- For the 2026 Games, information will be distributed to volunteers only via LINE groups immediately prior to and during the Games. LINE groups will be created for each activity to share information and make emergency contact. You cannot apply to be a volunteer unless you have your own LINE account. (It seems that email messages are often not received immediately prior to and during the Games, and information has not been distributed properly. Also, using a Facebook group in conjunction with the LINE account takes twice as long to distribute information. By limiting information sharing to LINE, which has a high account ownership rate, we aim to ensure that all participants can share information quickly.) We appreciate your understanding.
Minors can also apply if their companion has an account.
[Promises within the LINE group]
Do not spread information related to Games volunteer activities without permission.
Only information from the tournament will be posted on the timeline.
Individuals should refrain from posting comments or stamps on the timeline.
Refrain from adding members of a group as friends without their permission.
(If you behave excessively, you may be asked to leave the LINE group and may not be able to participate in volunteer activities.) - Your application does not mean that you have been confirmed as a volunteer. As always, we will notify you of your application results by email.
Please check your spam filter settings on your computer or cell phone to ensure that you can receive emails from volunteer@mtfuji100.com. - Once the volunteer activities have been confirmed, information will be shared in LINE groups for each activity, starting from late March 2026.

- Due to operational reasons, we may not be able to accommodate your desired activities.
- All volunteers will be provided with staff supplies.

Volunteer Q&A
- Are there any volunteer requirements?
-
The requirements are cooperation, adaptability, imagination, and the desire to enjoy activities with friends. However, the FUJI 100mi has a time limit of over 44 hours. This means that volunteer work will also take a long time. Depending on the progress of the race and the weather, you may not be able to take sufficient breaks or naps. This event is not recommended for those with concerns about their physical strength.
- What should I eat?
-
The event organizers will not provide meals for volunteers. Please bring your own food and consume it during breaks. (Hot water will be available in each area. Locations where burners and other appliances can be used will be announced at a later date.) Please bring along snacks that can be replenished while you are working, as they are convenient. Tap water at the foot of Mt. Fuji is drinkable, but there are areas where there is no running water, so please be sure to bring your own fluids. (There are also areas where there are no convenience stores or vending machines near the activity locations.) There is a food booth at the finish area, but please be sure to check the opening hours, etc.
- Are there any other important items to bring besides food and drink?
-
The weather in the mountains is changeable, so be sure to bring rain gear (top and bottoms). It also gets quite cold in the mornings and evenings. The temperature difference is drastic, so make sure to wear clothes that can help regulate your body temperature. Additionally, if you are doing long-term activities and plan to take naps or long breaks, you will need a sleeping bag and down jacket, and if you are doing activities at night, you will need a headlamp. (What you need to bring will vary depending on the location and time of day.)
An activity manual will be prepared in advance.Tournament rules and precautions" is also useful. Please refer to it. - How can I receive emergency contact during the tournament?
-
For the 2026 Games, information will be sent to the LINE group for each activity. (From the 2026 Games, those who do not have their own LINE account will not be able to apply to volunteer.)
- What should I pay special attention to as a volunteer?
-
Please be sure to arrive on time. If the roll call and explanation of your duties are not completed in one go, it may develop into a problem with the race management.
And we want you to complete your activities safely and return home safely.
Also, if you are leaving your post during an activity, please be sure to inform the leader or sub-leader. The number of participants is allocated so that participants can concentrate on the race. Please refrain from leaving your post for personal reasons as much as possible.
If you have any questions or concerns about the site, please feel free to speak to the site manager or volunteer leader.
If you have any questions before the tournament, please contact us by email at the address below. (We will respond to inquiries in order, but if it takes more than a week for us to respond, we would appreciate it if you could resend your email. We appreciate your understanding.)
